AXIS Door Controller Extension is an Axis Camera Application Platform (ACAP) based application, pre-installed on Axis network door controller products, to empower the door controller with extended feature or integration capability, such as wireless lock integration, or extend the maximum number of doors could be managed by Axis network door controller.

A truly cost-effective solution

Axis network door controllers, such as AXIS A1610 and AXIS A1210 support wireless lock, including the wide range of Aperio® wireless lock options from Assa Abloy. It provides a very cost efficient and easy to manage access control solution, no cabling required at the door, and up to 16x wireless doors could be connected and managed by one Axis network door controller.
